You must bring to class copies of the following documents for us to keep to receive full certification: 1) A copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) from the state your driver’s license was issued in. The MVR has to be issued within thirty (30) days from the day of class. The record must show driving history for the past three (3) years. The MVR HAS to be an official state issued record. At this time, we cannot accept driving records obtained by any other provider. 2) A copy of a Certificate of Insurance for $1,000,000 that covers escort operations. (Declaration Pages are not accepted as proof of insurance). Following is the Oklahoma law regarding insurance requirements that went into effect July 15, 2011: Oklahoma Administrative Rule 595:30-3-17(f)(1): The insurance policy shall protect the public against loss of life, bodily injury to persons, and damage to property, as evidenced by a current certificate of insurance, including any applicable endorsement, which indicates that the operator, or the operator's employer, has in full force and effect insurance coverage for bodily injury or property damage, or both, as a result of the operation of the escort vehicle or of the actions of escort vehicle operator, or of both, causing the bodily injury or property damage, or both, arising out of an act or omission by the escort vehicle operator relating to the escort duties required by this chapter. The insurance shall be no less than $1,000,000 combined single limit or $1,000,000 per occurrence, or both, of commercial liability coverage, as applicable, and must be maintained at all times during the term of the certification. The insurance certificate must indicate on the face of the document that the policy is for the operation of an escort vehicle or vehicles and escort duties and responsibilities as required by this chapter. Oklahoma Restricted Certification will only be available until July 31, 2012. Pre-registration is required to ensure space availability. To register, go to clgt.okstate.edu and click on “Pilot Escort Program”. Registrations are accepted via mail or fax as well. Forms can be accessed via clgt.okstate.edu or by calling our office. The cost of the class is $180. If paying on day of class, fee is $200. No personal checks will be accepted. You will receive a confirmation of your enrollment approximately ten (10) days before the class you have enrolled in. We look forward to having you in class!
